It has now been just over a year since residents of Dettingen Park were victorious in removing managing agent Peverel OM after a three year battle.
We formed our own resident led Management company Dettingen Park Management Company Limited and employed itsyourplace to act as managing agents for our wonderful community.
Kate & Richard along with their team have been busy in restoring our estate back to its former glory.
Shortly, Kate will be publishing a news letter to update residents on all matters Dettingen Park.
I hope residents find this web site useful and if you have any suggestions as to what you would like to see on the site please do let me know.
In the mean time, if you have not already subscribed to the community email distribution list you can do so here.
Very soon we will be free from the grip of Peverel and we can begin the work of restoring our wonderful community to its former glory.
What does the removal of Peverel mean to you?
For me it means not getting dozens of emails every week asking me to escalate an issue because Peverels call center have note returned a call or an email.
It will mean that buyers and sellers will be able to complete more quickly. It has always struck me as scandalous that Peverel can charge an extortionate admin fee for confirming management fees are up to date and writing a letter to that effect but taking months to do so.
It will mean that issues will be identified and rectified before a resident has chance to even spot the issue in the first place.
I am utterly sick to the back teeth of Peverel. What is a shame is that our current estate manager, Adam Sheehan is actually a good bloke. Unfortunately he reports to people who are useless and works for a company that clearly do not give him the tools to do his job.
Astonishingly, Peverel are the largest property management agents in the UK. One would think that with all the money and resources at their finger tips they could get a grip.
I have found out recently that Peverel were the managing agents for the Atrium in Camberely. They have been booted out from there. It’s not even 2 years old is it?
Once we have finally had everything handed over I will be organising a celebration drink. Just a beer over at Pine Ridge. Anyone up for it?
